The Digital Me

My Life Digitally Presented

Planning for Success

In my coaching with Joel, one of my assignements is to make a list of ways to surround myself with success, or to put in another way, to create an enviroment of success around me.  As I do everything, I do in electronically, so this is my list of ways to surround myself with success.

  • Mentally remind myself who I am
    • Created in God's image
    • Created with a Purpose
    • A Child of the King
  • Act like you have achieved your goals
    • Not in an arrogant way - but with confidence

One area in my life that I need to deal with when planning for my success is learning how how to deal with disappointments.  It is guaranteed that I will fail more often than I succeed.  Hank Aaron sttuck out twice as many times as he hit home runs.  David Foster has had over 100 hit songs in his career (more than anyone else), but has written 1000 or more.  So failure it guaranteed.  No one can success all the time.  This is especially hard for me because I do not deal well with it.  Fear of Rejection is my core fear.  To combat this, I need to make a plan of action to follow when I am in a rut like this.  When it hits me, what do I do.  Here is my plan of action

  1. Take a walk
