We had a really good Foundations For Living class this past Sundaymorning (Sunday School, for all you non-hip types, haha). We have beenstudying the Book Experiencing God, and during the lesson, our teacher(Rob) gave this piece of wisdom.

1. What you focus on, you Find.
2. What you focus on, will Grow.
3. What you focus on, is Real.
4. What you focus on, you Become.

Idon't know about any of you, but I know that I struggle in my life withmany things daily, but I have one problem I have struggled with sinceprobably third grade (no, I;m not going to say what it is). It is anissue that keeps me from being everything God wants me to be in my lifeas a Christian, so it is something I have tried to get rid of manytimes. The interesting thing is, I wonder if I have not made thisproblem bigger by putting too much emphasis on resolving it. I wonderif I shouldn't take my "focus" off the problem and put it onto JesusChrist.

In my own human mind, this does not make a lot of sense,but then, God does say that His ways are higher than ours, meaning wecan never understand them. Hmmm, makes me wonder.

On the memory front I have just about go the first chapter of 1^stJohn done now. I can quote it, but I mess up a word or two (and I wantto at least start with it word-for-word). I plan on moving to thesecond chapter tomorrow.
