Or as it is more commonly called, Thursday. I played softball tonight,in the rain no less. If the rain was not bad enough, I only hit 1 for 3(and walked once), but had no errors (only one hit was to me and Icaught it yeah!). We lost by one run in the end. Bummer.
I have closed my
Changes that Heal study for now as I have not even looked at it in weeks. I have also posted the introduction for my study of
The Purpose Driven Life.It is just the introduction and I have not started it yet, but I hopetoo soon (I first need to start going to bed earlier so I can get up inthe morning with enough time to read and pray over it).
I am looking at how to add the comments back into my blogs here. I am using
Blogger.comto post them, but I am doing it differently (for those who might becomputer geeks like me, the blogs post as XML and I use XSLT to stylethem in an ASP.NET page). It was fun to do this my way, but now I haveto figure out how to fix a few things :). Comment on my blogs soon youwill be able to, hmmm. (in the venerable words of Yoda).
Toclose my thoughts tonight, I was reading Romans 9 today. This is a verydifficult chapter for me and I do not understand it at all. It seems tosay that God predetermines some people for His wrath, but if that istrue, why does the Bible also say that God desires everyone to repentand come into His kingdom? The whole discussion of predestination is asticky topic and one that people much smarter than I am can't agree on,so I won't try to even state my opinion, but I will say this. I havestarted to pray that God chooses me as an object of mercy and not orwrath.
