I have been getting into Facebook recently (my friend Rob invited me).  It has been fun linking up with current friends and old friends (mainly from High School, Go East ERABS!)  Someone at work also invited me to some of games online (grrrrr, talk about a waste of time, yet I still play).  There are dozens of social networking sites now, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn (Widipedia lists 153 of these).  There is even Second Life where you can build an entire life online!

I saw this cartoon today and thought how appropriate this is for today.  We can't seem to relate to people one-on-one anymore.  Kids text instead of call, we post what we are doing (sometimes to the minutes degrees, can you say TMI.  So this is challenge for anyone that reads this, find one person that you haven't talked to in a while, and talk to them.  Don't email, don't faceboook, text, message or anything that involves typing.  Call them at the least or even better, make some face-time with them.  Connect for real, not virtually.
