I am finding myself blogging a lot more lately and I wonder why?  My entry for today came from my daily Bible Reading.  As I have been going through the books "48 Days to the Work You Love" and "No More Monday's" and listening to Jim Rohn, I have been putting tegether a deliberate plan for my life.  Not just vague ideas, but solid goals that I want to accomplish, some with deadlines, some without.  Well in my daily reading plan topday I was reading in 1 Cor 9 and I read this:

1 Corinthians 9:25-27 NIV  (25)  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.  (26)  Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.  (27)  No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

When I read that I realized Paul had a deliberate plan!  He was in strict training, not running aimlessly and excercising self-control of his own human desires so that he could win his race!  I guess I should have saw that one one of the many other times I have read that passage, but my mind must be too dense.  When I read I am looking for the Holy Spirit to show me Truth in what I am reading, and that is what happened today.  It makes me feel even more confident that I am moving in the right direction in my life.  I may not know the steps I will take next week, but I can plan the next steps for tomorrow, trusting God to make sure my foot does not stray from the path He wants me to walk.  I trust that the desires and passion I am feeling for the changes are really and truely of God, so Thank you God for changing me and showing me that my life is important to you.

I Love You God
